Half Apple
The giant half apple is part of the series of sculptures which have focused on seeds and their dispersal. The pips are at the centre of this work , made in polished cold cast copper they draw the viewer in to focus on them , the important bits, the bits we discard. There is a definite female aura to this work with the apples strong connotations of protection, rebirth and progeny. This is a limited edition piece. 7 remaining £2,800
