Dandelion
The dandelion has one of nature’s most wondrous seeds. Under the microscope they are gnarled and hooked, this combined with the featherd whisps make it the ultimate natural glider seed. Seeing the seed at this scale ( including the plinth it stands at over 4m tall) the feeling of having been shrunk is pronounced and hints at a recurring theme in my present work, that nature can be seen as greater and perhaps more enduring than us humans. £1,800.
